Helpful Hints

  1. If you want people to know who sent the postcard then don't forget to add your name.
  2. If you want to send postcards from overseas then make sure you have roaming enabled (your network provider can tell you if you’re not sure).
  3. If you send it to us by 3pm we'll get the postcard to the Royal Mail that day.
  4. You can send the postcard anywhere in the world.
  5. Don’t try and send something rude, offensive or abusive because we won’t post it.

Hints and Tips to Taking Great Photos

  1. If you can, set the resolution on your camera to the highest possible although you need to make sure that it stays below 100KB. We suggest using 640*480 on a superfine setting
  2. The better the resolution on your camera the better the photo. If you have a phone with less than 1.3m pixels then you
should consider getting a new phone.
  3. Think about where the light is. If you take a photo with the light shining into the camera then it will be harder to make out the subject of the photo. The best position is to have the light shining behind you.
  4. Taking a photo of piece of coal in a dark cupboard is going to test even the best cameras so we would suggest not bothering. Generally the more light you have the better the photo.
  5. Camera-shake is the most popular reason for smudged photos. Try to hold the camera steady when your taking a photo although we know this is difficult when you're skydiving.
  6. Taking good photos when you're drunk is hard but then again life is for living.
