What do I need to zapit ?
Where can I zapit to ?
Can I zapit abroad ?
Will my network allow me to zapit ?
Does it matter whether I have a monthly or a Pay-as-you-go contract ?
What do you mean it's a postcard?
When will the postcard arrive?
What about the quality of the postcard ?
Are there any restrictions on what can be put on a postcard ?
How will the person receiving the postcard know it's from me ?
Can I zapit anonymously ?
Where's my postcard? It hasn't arrived yet.
The quality of the picture is rubbish ?
I got a text saying my photograph has been rejected.
All you need is a camera phone, a contract with a U.K. network and, if you're pay-as-you-go, sufficient credit on your phone and you're ready to go. It also helps, just like any postcard, to have the correct address to send the postcard to.

You can zap a postcard anywhere in the world.

Yes. However, some countries may be out of bounds because your telephone network doesn't have a roaming partner in that country. The number of countries that are out of reach is falling all the time so best check with your network operator. If you want to zapit abroad then before you go overseas check with your network operator that you have roaming enabled.

Yes, Zapit works with all the U.K. networks.

Not in the slightest, but if you are pay-as-you-go you will need to make sure you have sufficient credit on your phone.

We mean exactly that - it's a postcard exactly the same as the traditional type you can buy in shops except with Zapit you make it unique and personal by having your own picture on the front. We'll even write the postcard for you provided you tell us what to say. Oh and don't worry about searching for stamps we'll do that to and just to complete the service we'll post it as well.

Provided you zapit to us by 3pm we'll get it into the Royal Mail by that evening with a first class stamp. That means that if your postcard is going to the U.K. it should arrive the next day. Obviously, deepest Borneo takes a bit longer. You can check Royal Mail performance here: Royal Mail Peformance

£2.00 per postcard plus the cost of sending an MMS which will depend on the package you have chosen with your network operator.

A 1.3m pixel camera can produce a photograph which is entirely suitable for zapit. You can check by looking at the lens on your camera as it is normally etched there or checking in your manual or finally contacting your network operator. Clearly, the higher the quality of camera the sharper the photograph and vice versa. Some phones allow you to change the phone setting, if you can then the higher the setting the better the photograph will look.
To ensure that you can send the MMS make sure that the photograph is smaller than 100KB.

As per Royal Mail instructions, we will not send postcards which are either indecent, obscene or offensive. All zapits are checked and if we find one we don't like then we will let you know by SMS.

Just like an old fashioned postcard, you will need to include your name in the message.

Yes - if you wish to remain anonymous, then you can as long as your picture adheres to our terms and conditions.

You need to check the quality of your camera and, if available on your phone, the camera settings. If your phone is old then you might want to consider upgrading your phone. If it's not the phone then it could be the way the photograph was taken. Have a look at our handy tips on the How To page.

It will be because we regard your photograph as indecent, obscene or offensive. You may disagree but we are responsible for sending it in the mail and we are not prepared to take the risk. You can still view the photograph on-line and can let others see it on-line. Log in to our Member's Area to view your photographs.
